A criminal conviction doesn't make an immigrant the 'worst of the worst'

In 2022, my husband, Rob, and I adopted three sisters from foster care. Shortly before the youngest was born in 2016, their father, Kelvin, was incarcerated for armed robbery.

  1. Good day to you, Georgene Smith Goodin. Your story “A conviction doesn’t make an immigrant the worst of the worst”. A sad article to hopefully an unfinished story. I suppose there are insufficient resources to assist the people described in your article. Prayers might be of value. Good luck to you and Kelvin and his family.
